Illegal Drug Experimentation 9

We have finally found our safe house. It's in a densely forested area near a substantally populated city. Before, we were continually on the move, but after I got my work visa and made a small annoucement to the public about my sudden appearance (I made sure there was a hidden message within to keep our enemies away), I was able to use the plot of land which our homebase is now on. To the public I live there alone and work on my job of translating  Japanese into English while I assist the athorities with the pest problem. (My family is happy to hear that I'm alive and, although I won't meet them in person yet, we have talked a lot sense I reappeared.) Behind all of that, I and the group of refugees have built our establishment and work on finding the true mastermind while planning to help anyone else who has fallen victim to them. Truly, our manufactured genius combined has given us more hope than anything else, especially when we think about bringing them down by their own creation.

Earth 3000+

I was going to wait to post the finished map when I had completed all the information for it, but I decided that I'll just post the maps information along with the history that I'm working on for my story. If you click on the map It should enlarge. I'll tell you this, Anakara is the human continent and Sanguisuge is the vampire continent. You'll find out about the outlying islands when I post the information. Enjoy and feel free to give me your honest opinion good or bad. (This is my first time creating a map on the computer. I usually draw them by hand and scan them onto my computer. The only thing I did on the computer with my map was type the names for it.)

Cassius and Violet

Part 1

It’s already been six months since my life went from chaotic-castaway-vampire-captive to what my life had previously consisted of; helping my Mommasina make a living while enjoying each other’s company in our little coastal town. I occasionally reminisce about those events and the Vampires I encountered, especially Cassius Dormante and his highly irregular rescue of me from the very vampire to whom he had sold me. I don’t understand him, and quite frankly, I have felt very angry towards him. I also can’t help but feel that I owe him my life which makes me even angrier, so in the end I prefer not to think about it at all and dismiss such thoughts from my mind. It is an understatement when I say that I am very glad we will never meet again.

When I was away my Momma was very worried and when I came back, her tangible relief seemed to wash decades away from her. She became noticeably perkier and exuded a glow of gratitude and thanksgiving that I had returned. Since then, she keeps a sharp eye on me. I haven’t told her everything that happened to me except that I got stranded on an island for a period of time. There’s no way I can tell her the rest, because she’s been through enough already. I’ve also worked hard to eradicate any vampire influence and training left so it won’t show and thankfully I’m almost back to normal; I only occasionally obey people’s unwitting commands. All in all, I am thankful to be back where I belong.

The New Earth

I am going to put up a map that corresponds with me story Cassius and Violet. Now, I'm trying to make this as realistic as possible in a fantasy kind of way, so I looked up what experts would consider the earth to look like if all the continents became one. Thanks to the NASA site I was able to get what professionals would consider to be accurate. (Although in their version it's going to take over 2 million years, wear as in mine it's all come together within a month of a freak natural earth disturbance that nobody has been able to explain. ^_^) I'm still working on the basics, but I hope to have it done soon.

Illegal Drug Experimentation 8

It’s been a couple months since we escaped and have yet to find a place to call “home.”, (which in our case would be more like our base of operations.) Sachiko and I decided way before we escaped that we would fight to bring these jerks down, even if it cost us our lives. (We can’t bear the thought of them continuing their practice and putting others through similar horrors.) Of course, we immediately applied the question of who wished to help to the others in our group as well, and most of them agreed whole heartedly, (those few that didn’t where pretty much still in a “shell-shocked” kind of state.) We haven’t really got a plan of action yet, except to find a secure location to permanently stay at and finding people that we can trust on the outside. (People like lawyers, officers of the law from various authoritative sanctions, family members of the “victims,” and such that aren’t corrupt.) Through our own research we discovered that all but one of us has been declared legally dead, and that one person still legally alive would be me. There are of course advantages and disadvantages to both sides: The advantages being that legally dead you can fly under the radar, but the disadvantage is that makes it easier for our pursuers to make us disappear again; being alive means I can’t fly under the radar, but I have access to the public services. (Usually it takes at least seven years of total disappearance before they even begin to label you as dead, but apparently our enemies have a taste for the theatrics and made it seem like each of us perished in one way or another. My parents didn’t believe in their show apparently by the mere fact that I’m still legally alive.) I’ve already decided I’ll be putting my enhanced intelligence to good work to earn money to provide everyone with at least a suitable amount of comfort. My first goal is to get a visa, or to be more specific, a working visa. I’m sure suddenly appearing in Japan as a missing person from the U.S.A. will cause quite a stir, but I’ll be sure to use that to my advantage by insisting that I can do more good if I stay here and work with the authorities in apprehending those jerks… Well, something along those lines. I’ll definitely have to play my cards right and in the beginning I’m sure it will be a lot of play-by-ear. All I know is right now I need to focus on establishing a safe house for my fellow refugees without the law or public finding out about them. (At this point I don’t know who to trust or how deep this corruption lies. Who knows how many or what type of people from however many countries is involved.) Our ultimate goal is to bag as many of these despicable creatures as we can and hopefully that will be such a crippling blow they’ll be put out of business soon after, if not immediately. Anyways, one step at a time…

Cassius and Violet Biographies

My continuation to Island, Vampire, and Vampire Island is taking longer to get out than I had previously anticipated. I'm in the editing process so it should be soon. This past week has really just piled up on me, and a lot has been on my plate but I will be getting it out soon. So, until then I have a little something called... CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES! These bios will relate back to the characters in previously stated stories. So first off are the two main characters:

Vampire Island

Vampire Island

The island was just coming in sight as Cassius yawned. Pricilla had come to fetch him right on the hour, and they had been flying since the day before. He hadn’t flown in many years, and disliked how it made him feel exhausted. Pricilla, on the other hand, was flying circles around him screeching annoyingly at him like a gloating, naggy mother.

They were the last to arrive to the vampire family reunion, and when they did, there was a huge uproar. All the vampires were arguing right outside the cave they always used, with expressions of utter fury.

“I can’t believe this has happened!”

“I know! I thought that at least here we would be safe from their grasp!”

“What are we going to do?”

“We can’t let it be! I say we initiate a hunt!”

There was a roar of approval from the rest, as Cassius inquired, “What’s going on?”

A cousin yelled out, “Cassius!” Everyone turned their attention towards him, most of them with, for vampires, warm, friendly smiles, the rest showing cold irritation. “How’s it going old boy?!”

Another person interjected, “We’ll get to the pleasantries later; right now we have a slight pest problem.”

The atmosphere immediately turned sour once again. Pricilla impatiently asked, “What sort of pest?” She waited about five seconds before she continued in an irritated voice, “Well, spit it out!”

“A human has come to our island. From what we’ve gathered, one injured human has been staying in the cave, but we’re not sure.”

“Although I have to say it made some nice improvements to our dank abode.” The woman that spoke giggled. She could never stay serious for long. “We now have access to an unlimited supply of fresh, continually circulating, spring water directly from the source, welling up in two places. The smaller one appears to be for drinking, and the bigger one appears to be for bathing. At least, that would be my guess from what seems to be homemade toiletries beside the big one, such as soup and sand scrub. I dare say that if I find it first, I’ll be thanking it before I kill it.” She smiled with cold humor.

Cassius ignored her, “Do we know how it got here?”

There was a general shaking of heads as one replied, “No. We looked all around the island. We couldn’t even find the human, let alone what brought it here.”

Pricilla sniffed haughtily, “Could it have left?”

“No. Everything is too fresh, and little Mike here, caught a glimpse of it before it disappeared.”

Cassius lifted an eyebrow, “Disappeared? So, we would be dealing with a highly skilled magic user…”

Pricilla scoffed, “I think that was obvious from the fresh springs appearing in our cave. I say we hunt it down now, instead of talking about it so we can quickly get back to our reunion. If we play our cards right, we could have not a pest, but a delicacy.” She smiled, showing her enlarged fangs with a small hiss.

Zarcof and Vels

Zarcof and Vels

I will never forget the day it all happened. I was calmly lounging up in my favorite tree reading one of my favorite fiction books for the umpteenth time. I lived out in the country then, so all I had to disturb the quiet was a soft breeze that rustled the leaves, the bird’s twittering, and an occasional noisy cricket. I remember just finishing my favorite part of the book and looking up at the sky with a slight smile. I closed my eyes, feeling the breeze wash over me peacefully, and that’s when the thought occurred to me. I wonder if elves, fairies, gnomes, and all the other fairytale creatures in the stories I read could have actually ever existed. I laughed at my idiotic thought and continued thinking, if they existed, proof would have already been found because of all the archeological digs that go on around the world… Although, it sure would be cool if they really did exist. I let out a heavy sigh and opened my eyes. Coming back to reality was always the toughest part of my day.

As I was about to descend the tree, there was a loud crackling and popping sound coming from below. When I looked I saw a bright vertical orange circle appearing. It was one dimension and grew larger with each second. It finally stopped when it was what I guessed to be around nine feet in diameter. I was frozen in place and it felt like my eyes where popping out of my head from shock. I few seconds later I was over the shock enough to begin descending again, and was about to finish, when two beings stepped through the orange portal. That was enough shock to make me lose my grip and fall. As I fell my mind went completely blank, and the world around me seemed to slow down. I watched everything above me get further away as I went, at that moment one thought occurred to me. The breeze has stopped. The next thing I knew I landed on something softer than the ground but bony. A few moments later I heard some wheezing, and realized that I had landed on one of the beings coming out of the portal. I quickly scrambled to my feet and turned so my back was to the tree. I stared down, not fully comprehending what I was seeing.

Illegal Drug Experimentation 7

Our escape went off better than any of us had hoped for. Of course there were the few variables that hindered our plan and tried to ruin it, but we all made it.
The plan was simple. Sachiko and I had established persona's before we even really began our escape plan. I was the weak, obliging one while Sachiko was difficult and strong willed. We acted in such a way that they came to the conclusion that it would be best to keep us together. It helped that they thought that I was the only one that could control Sachiko's rages and the she was the only one that could calm my fits of hysteria.

Illegal Drug Experimentation 6

It's only Sachiko and I now. The last one besides us was toted out just a while ago. Our survival with minimum side effects seems to be baffling the scientists. From what we understand they can't seem to figure out how we are doing so well when they had summarized us to be one of the first to go. Since we don't show any signs of expiring soon they've started putting us through hellish tests to try and figure it out, but they won't be doing it for long.

We have come up with a plan of escape. We’ve been working on it for months by looking up information and setting up our own unique characters. We should get an Emmy Award for our superb acting.  After all, Sachiko and I would be complete idiots that no drugs could possibly help if we didn't take this chance and use our increased mentalities against our captures. Plus, it's not just going to be us. We're planning to take everyone with us. I know it sounds absolute ridiculous and impossible, but keep in mind that us survivors went through the same treatment we were just at different health and IQ levels. Of course Sachiko and I are the leaders and instigators of the whole affair considering that we are the only ones left of the highest IQ group that was experimented upon. My mind is clearer than it has been for a while and in a couple of nights I'll see the sky for the first time in over two years...
